In essence, the FSC and PEFC have been set up as not for profit organisations, promoting the environmental, social and economical benefits of monitoring the usage of the worlds’ forests in a controlled manner. As a printing company, this means that we need to ensure that the paper we purchase has been sourced from a forest, paper mill and paper merchant that all adhere to the strict FSC and PEFC guidelines.
