History
Greens was founded in 1919 in Marlow by Mr Oswald Green as a small family printers. It originally had the telephone number Marlow 4 and is proud to have printed everything from Ration Books in the Second World War to simple stationery for local businesses and the community. As the years passed the business was sold on and moved into litho and digital printing when it merged with Marlow Bureau in the early 90s. In 2000 Greens had a digital factory, litho factory and copyshop in Marlow so it was decided to merge the factories to the current site in High Wycombe to create a more efficient operation. The shop ‘Marlow Bureau’ stayed open but was finally closed in 2007.
Greens now has 22,000 sq ft split between offices, studio, litho and digital print, assembly and storage. The growing demand for a full service supplier has seen Greens growth in technical services like web design, e-commerce, on line reporting, studio and creative services as well as storage and global distribution. On 1st January 2007 Greens was renamed Greens Limited from Greens Printing Services Limited to reflect this new and more vibrant business. |
